2 bristles broke after the first use, rather after the first stroke through my hair. Will not recommend to use this for detangling as the bristles will keep breaking.Also not even sure about whether the material of bristles is wood.You can use this after detangling to massage your scalp, although a brush's most important usage is to detangle, so buy at your own risk.Not even returnable right now, so it was not value for money for me!

Heavy and bulky. Had a bristle missing. just mailed Silkrute and they promptly sent a new one, so extra star for that. however, the new one was even worse where not just the bristles were missing again but the entire cushion came off within two uses!

Supposed to detangle hair but it does not work any better than a low cost brush. In fact, I would say it is worse than any standard hair brush. The round balls at the tips of the bursh spikes are really bad for hair as it keeps getting caught and breaks the hair tips
