Took my time with this review and writing it after a few days of drinking this coffee (morning & evening).The packaging and the actual bottle the coffee comes in are definitely captivating and justify the price you pay over regular store bought instant coffees.Coming to the taste, the underlying coffee is very good, much better and authentic tasting compared to other store bought coffees. But just like other reviews, it's the coffee flavour (french vanilla in this case) that is definitely OVER-POWERING. Even the smell of french vanilla everytime you open the bottle is extremely strong and almost smells like medicine sometimes.Sleepy Owl needs to work on their flavouring.. something they can sort out by closely looking at how Nescafe does it!Once they sort the flavour situation, Sleepy Owl definitely have a winner on their hands!

I had previously used the dip bag versions of this brand they were also expensive but did seem pretty good and somewhat justified. But the Instant powder version not at all justified. No Aroma, No Hazelnut flavour, decent taste and Very low to none Value for money. Seems like a very light coffee and because of being light its also light on stomach so thats a plus point. Overall not a bad coffee but definetly priced way too higher than worth.

This flavour is utterly disgusting. It's pungent smell will make you vomit and so will the taste.There is nothing hazelnut about it. I had to put in extra sugar to mask the taste.Better to use hazelnut syrup in a normal coffee.Apprehensive about trying out their other flavours now.Guess I'll just stick to their Filter Kaapi as that's the only good offering worthy of spending money on.

Not sure why are coffee companies running around selling flavoured coffee powders. Anyone who likes their coffee unadulterated should not be choosing this, even the original variant has a flavoured taste which makes you to puke if you like your coffee black.It's just a stupid race among companies to 'innovate' when some things should be kept as simple and original as possible.
