I am not sure if its organic bcoz the taste is similar like you buyed from the Baniya wala shop, The reason i buyed bcoz baniya wala sell soda which is laiden with aluminum powder and which is very harmful for the health, so i thought this urban platter will be safe for use but turned out the same taste, colour and coarse, i can't recommend this product.

Packaging is fair resealable. Taste is yuck tasted metallic almost like baking powder and not baking soda (trust me there is a difference). Does not dissolve completely in water left behind grit and impurities. That was a definite turn off. Not worth the money spent. You can definitely get better quality stuff from local grocery or other more reasonably priced brand. I find most urban platter products over priced and quality not worth the price.

Knowing that all our fruits and vegetables come covered in chemicals, cleaning with this product before cooking will remove most of the harsh chemicals which were on it, this is recommended to any one living in a city as most of the products that come to us have some chemical laced on it.
