This powder has a really strong fragrance and since it has no other ingredients, one can probably get all the health benefits of vanilla. That said, it is best not to use this in recipes that require high-temperature cooking like in kheers or cakes, maybe because unlike in essences, the vanillin molecules are not bound to other compounds that bond. When I added the powder at the end after switching off the flame in kheers or in cake dressings, they hold the flavor well. I also enjoy it in smoothies, shakes, or in my over night soaked oats. Yum!

When I first ordered in Jan 2018, the aroma was very strong.In the recent order, there is no aroma whether you add to tea or cake.Feel very dissapointed as product is not cheap.Certainly, not ordering this product again.Urban platter needs to give explanation. Better still replace/refund all buyerswith a particular batch. They know for sure which batch had problems.
