The yeast is not active. I didn’t believe the reviews since there is good overall review on this item. But when I tested it with Luke warm water, it didn’t even foam. The yeast seems to be dead. Very sad experience.

Use it for bread, works fine. The granules are very fine, good for mixing with flour (I do not follow the recommendation to dissolve it first in liquid but add it simply to the flour and add the flour to the liquid ... just my way). First rise comes always fast, almost like instant yeast, second rise takes more time, as usual. I'm using same amount of yeast (in gram) as with other brands. Taste is relatively neutral, I guess I can use it for everything (sour, sweet, etc.).

I have been baking bread for a while now but eversince I started using this yeast there is a problem with the rise of the bread. The bread does not rise fully in the pan. I have tried proofing for longer and shorter periods but the results are not upto the mark.
