In the vast sea of mediocre Indian products allegedly based on traditional practices , one occasionally comes across something that actually delivers what was promised. This is one such product. This is an exceptionally good oil. For those whose senses have been dulled after a lifetime of being fed crappy industrial cooking oils, this oil may feel too smokey or too smelly or too flavorful. It's like tasting scotch after having only tasted coke. This is not an oil for those not serious about their cooking oils. I make my dosas with this oil, and frankly, I'll never use another brand as long as this one keeps up its standards. Do yourself a favor. Try it.
