Should have used poriari,and slightly higher frying oil temperature. Rice should be wetted,dried,and then slightly fried before powdering. Alternatively add some hot oil while making the dough.

The murukku I received was in powdered form! Not even a single complete spiral! But the taste is really good. I had to eat it with a spoon! Looms & weaves must look for a better packaging option so that these snacks won't break.
