We are often asked the story behind our particular name. Well, the oldest evidence of popcorn was found in the ancient caves of Peru, nearly 6700 years ago, in 4700BC! It all started with an idea to create something revolutionary, filled with innovation and intrigue. Their idea was visionary to bridge the gap between Indian market vis-a-vis Gourmet popcorn. They did extensive R&D about the product by travelling around the country and tasting every flavour of popcorn there was in India and henceforth, established the avant-garde brand which introduced India to Gourmet Popcorn! Brimming with hope and excitement about the potential of the idea, they hired a local bakery chef to transform their ideas into flavours. After experimenting with innovative and quirky popcorn flavours, they decided to take their idea to the next level. They decided to come up with unique and interesting flavours that were totally new to the Indian market, and as for naming the flavours, they chose to go with a combination of international and domestic appeal like wasabi and sour cream!

The bag ia too small for the content. Within 1.30 mins the bag popped open as there was no more space in it. When I emptied it into a container only half of it had poped. Should have bigger bag like act2 popcorn.Regarding the flavour the popcorn are regular. There is a seperate sachet given of cheese powder which you need to mix later. Tastes exactly like cheese balls. The flavour gets stuck at the side of container when you sprinkle and shake it. So kinda okay experience. I'd rather order a extra butter popcorn and garnish it with cheese powder later which is avilable in markert. That way il have the proper cheesy state.

As a regular consumer of 4700BC Popcorn in the Barbecue flavor variant, I was extremely disappointed with my recent purchase.Instead of the savory barbecue flavor I've come to expect, the popcorn tasted excessively salty, bordering on inedible. It's evident that the flavoring was not properly executed, leaving me questioning whether actual barbecue seasoning was used at all.It's disheartening to feel like I've been misled by what appears to be nothing more than salt with a hint of color.As a loyal customer, I expect consistency and quality from this brand, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations.I hope the company takes steps to rectify this issue and ensure that future batches maintain the authentic flavors customers have come to love.
