Advantages
Being fond of food and cooking, learnt about these rajasthani chillies. Its good to know that a revival of these chillies is happening as more people learn about it. They are used in cooking dishes like lal maas. I have been using them for sometime now. The heat i would say is medium - i eat very hot food. The flavour is very good when roasted in oil. If you roast it at low temperature , you get an incredible sweet aroma. Havent faced any issues using these - like acidity or discomfort.

Taste is good. Color is OK. Might feel spicy when you wet grind it but if cooked properly, it caramelises beautifully giving the signature flavour to the food. You might not get that LAAL as some chillies are discolored and have white spots. Though if used in quantity, it was good but had to compromise with the color of the gravy or masala.

Mathania mirch.. If you use it in cooking without seeds with test amd floverd perfectly. From the study of cilli I came to know original mathania mirch have blunt end but this one is sharp end.. It may be happened due to some unwanted cross breading.. Quality is great no question on that. Price is little bit on higher side.
