Neatly air packed, strong aroma, great flavor, but be sure to at least boil in milk for 45 mins minimum.Better than a few others tested, especially from shalimar saffron, which is more pricey than key.

When I opened the package, I didnt care about the saffron, because the packing was so good.Nevertheless, the saffron was of excellent quality and compared to other brands, this brand seemed to be the most authentic that I could find.

First up, delivered very securely, the seller has ensured whichever way amazon packs it, its contents, including the box on the thumbnail isn’t scratched! Secondly, once you peel that the protective layer off, just the way that box feels in your hand. I mean, I didnt know paper could feel that good. Its beautifully packaged. Now once you get to the jar, you see the amazing red of the saffron, i dont think ive ever seen a saffron so naturally red. The moment you unscrew the cap you realise, how effectively its been sealed, they’ve made sure nothing gets in or out. As for the saffron itself, this came as a surprise for me, there wasnt the usual fragrence that you associate with saffron, and as far as i can tell my sense of smell is pretty alright, so i was quite taken aback. Then i realised, oh so this is what the good stuff smells like. And its not like its not good, just isnt that extra-sweet for no reason. I’ve used it in my milk once uptil now, and the colour is beautiful deep canary. Though i would surely like to know why it doesnt smell like the other ones. I am happy with this one.
