the flavour is very mild. i donot know whether it is a good indicator or not.one thing I observed that the saffron doesnot melt in the milk completely after 2 hours in the milk. pls clarify.

Very good saffron,it has good flavour,scent as well colour.I was expecting quality in which only 3 kesar line is enough while cooking kheer etc...but we have to use more than 3 line. At present scenario this product is best..and rest of kesar brand in Amazon is waste of money

This is my first time I have ordered saffron through Amazon. I am delighted to have it. The packaging was very good and tidy. 1 gm. of saffron was packed in air-tight glass bottle and it’s sealed with plastic material so as to prevent any direct contact with air and light. This glass bottle was packed in one box. All these make the packaging very attractive and safe for the contents that is inside the box. When I opened the lid and smelled it, the glass bottle was full of it’s aroma. Such an aroma is distinct and exhibit its genuineness. Once few strips of saffron were crushed and put into warm milk, these strips did not release colour instantly. These strips of saffron slowly and steadily released its colour and various portion of the milk where these strips lied turned yellow. When this milk was consumed later after soaking these strips, the milk tasted differently and I could enjoy the rich tase & aroma of saffron.

I had done research on identifying good quality saffron from the bad ones and to be honest, Keynote Kashmiri Kesar meets all criteria( scent, flavour, colour dispersion etc) to be a good quality product. I have been using it for three days, putting two to three petals in milk. It takes 30-45 mins to infuse the essence of saffron in milk(have cream to light pale yellow colour at the end).

Hello, i would definitely recommend this product. First of all its PURE and secondly its packing in small jar is very nice. I always use it while making rice pudding. It enhances the flavour of pudding. I add it in milk as well and there is no need to add sugar then. In the end i will only say 4 words - “ Just go for it”. ????????

Purchased 1gm of Kashmiri Kesar a few weeks ago. Came well packed in transit; beautifully boxed, in a vacuum packed glass bottle.- Since we have been using Kashmiri Kesar for decades whilst preparing recipes, and especially putting in badam milk which my folks like. Hence, we tested it out immediately putting a few strands of Kesar in warm milk (note: not hot but feeble warm milk) and stirred with a tea-spoon for like 5 minutes. Not only did the strands completely dissolve, but if you crush them against the wall which helps in dissolving faster - the entire white milk turns into a beautiful crimson yellowish saffron color. My parents tasted the milk certifying that it tasted 100% original (since our family earlier used to receive Kashmiri saffron directly from the Planters who grow these in Kashmir Valley).- Hence, quality wise it is 100% original, and a must have if you are looking for quality Kashmiri Saffron.Note: I have earlier purchased both - "Afghan Kesar" and "Made in Spain Kesar" but this Kashmiri one is more refined, and tasted better than both the Afghani & Spanish one.

This is of good quality, much better then avaialbe locally at grocery store nearby. The product came packed in a sealed premium quality bottle , ensuring the aroma remains. Quality is superior and have long strands, one is enough to deliver the flavors to any dish. The saffron tastes great and delivers amazing colour and great aroma.
