OVERVIEW & BENEFITS: Less known to people outside India but a favorite base note among perfumers and perfume brands this high quality essential oil made from the roots of the vetiver (aka Khus) plant comes from the south of India where it has been cultivated for ages not just for perfumery but also to make summer drinks and fragrant grass pads that people simply hang in their homes. 2-3 drops in your massage oil will calm your nerves and keep you sniffing all day. Mix with a citrus oil like Bergamot to elevate the fragrance. EXTRACTION METHOD PLANT PART(S) USED & ORIGIN: Solvent Extracted absolute essential oil of the roots of the Indian Vetiver plant grown sustainably in Kerala India by our partner cooperatives FRAGRANCE: Earthy sweet green; PERFUMERY NOTES: Base AUTHENTICITY PROMISE: We work very hard to source our essential oils only from farms that have their own distilleries to ensure that aroma and medical properties are retained during distillation. Each new variety is randomly tested for 3 months by perfumers aromatherapists massage/beauty practitioners random customers and in the lab for aroma quality & consistency before launch. We do not use any chemical fixatives to enhance the aroma. Each oil is 100% pure & therapeutic grade. SAFETY & STORAGE: This is a concentrated 100% pure essential oil and MUST NOT be ingested or consumed internally. As with all essential oils ALWAYS DILUTE this product in a carrier oil like coconut jojoba almond apricot oil creams & lotions (3-5%). DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY ON SKIN OR EYES. Have been to eucalyptus farms in Ooty and still have an empty bottle that I kept as a souvenir and one sniff of this oil takes me back instantly to the Nilgiris. In addition to colds, I use it for mosquitos by adding a few drops in my mopping bucket and also add to my washing machine. Genuine and potent. Go for it.

I see that it's been packaged in an ordinary/general outer cover and inner essential oil bottle is having a sticker which anyone can put, it doesn't give an authentic look. Can anyone tell me how to know whether this is authentic product.
