The sandal wood essential oil does not have any woody fragrance at all. I have a piece of sandal wood that i bought from the government showroom and the smell after making a paste is completely different from this oil. They don't say which sandal wood tree they use for extracting the oil, but it is definitely not the Indian Sandalwood.
