I have been using Sat isabgol for the last twenty odd years. I have never had any problem with the brand. It is for the first time I find some inedible ingredient added to, which feels synthetic and stays in the mouth. I hope it is only a production lot related issue and would be resolved in the future supplies. It nevertheless has shaken my faith in the brand and for the first time I am looking for a substitute.
