I followed both steps, it was my first time to use this product. After step 1- henna, hair became orange. After step 2 - indigo, hair became kind of dark color. But the roughness was way too much for me. It was advised to not oil the hair immediately so had to manage with dry rough hair for 2 days. I would say it was ok results, depending on hair people will get different experiences. Have to shampoo and see how much effect remains or everything gets washed off with shampoo.

I didn't bought this product from Silkrute I bought it from mkt I came here just to write a review,I have been searching for something natural,I wanted to quit chemical colours,henna I used to apply but then same orange colour I tried indigo of some other company,I didn't know actually how to use it,so I soaked it in Iron pan,WHUCH IS NOT ADVISABLE AS IT DOESNT GIVE THE COLOUR,becos of its oxidising nature,I read reviews here and thought of giving it a try and yes first use it was 99% colouring,second time it applied same henna which was wrong after using indigo pls don't use henna as it will take off the black colour of indigo,so with personal experience iam advising you all to buy this product it is very good,but after first application,second application should be indigo again and not the henna I did same and nowi have natural black colour,so it is a very good product...stop chemical clrs and buy this item is worth the price for long term effect...today istuesday iam writing this review my first application was on last to last Wednesday henna kept for 4 hrs Saturday indigo kept for 4-5 hrs and normal water cleansing no shampoo I shampooed my hair on Sunday then second application was of henna on Friday which was wrong I should hv used indigo only still on sat I applied indigo and I got good black colour...Highly recommended....

I and many of my family members have been using this product since 4-5 years.It gives a natural black colour which stays for about 1 to 2 months depending on number of shampooing we do.The greying of the hair colour appears natural once the effect weans off unlike the other colours which gives a large grey patch.Highly recommended
