No, it won't give you a strong hold. If that's what you're looking for, don't buy it. This is my hair on day 1 after using it. Your hair will go back to its normal state after day 1, but yes, it did moisturise my hair and it made my hair smoother. Don't expect too much quantity. And no, it won't cause you hair loss until you put it on your scalp.

I had difined curly hair in my teen age and recent years due to changes in water(hard water) and other factor I've lost that. I've tried an no of products, loreal products would do a little favor but I this product has difined my curls again. I woulnt do justice to this product if I won't give a right review. It's a good product it magically defines the maggie curls hair but doesn't help define my curls. Instead, it straighten my curls! Is it because I have wavy hair? I don't understand. But I kind of like it though because when I need to straight my hair I don't need the straightener I can use this product and it's heat free:)

I have been using this combo for a couple of weeks now and I'm quite satisfied with the performance. I have short hair so I don't need a lot of product. The hair butter is moisturizing and it has made my hair feel healthy and voluminous. The hair gel gives good structure and hold to my hair. These products also impart a nice shine to my hair. The only downside is that these products are a bit expensive, but they work.
