I'm realistic and I don't expect a shampoo to fortify my hair and prevent it from breaking. But I have thin hair and I expect a shampoo for thin hair to give my hair grip and don't make it flat. This shampoo gives grip and texture to the hair, but also it makes it a little harsh to the touch. It works `better` if I use a more moisturizer conditioner and styling cream afterwards.The shampoo itself cleanses very well the scalp from build-up and it didn't cause me any dandruff (an issue with other shampoos for me). It's also gentle enough to not irritate my scalp.It's a thick shampoo that makes a luxurious rich lather with minimum product (very cost effective).But I hate the scent of this shampoo and it's way too strong. It's not even the rosemary, it has a minty scent that I just can't get over. The scent of the shampoo doesn't linger, but paired with the conditioner it's worse. Definitely would recommend trying to see if you enjoy the scent before buying.

I first picked this up this shampoo because we were going on vacation for a week and needed something bigger to share than a small travel size bottle of shampoo. This was the perfect size for traveling for a week when sharing, and I needed something for thickening or creating body for my fine hair. The masculine rosemary scent was a bonus, and it felt perfect for our trip to the Colorado mountains. You also only need a small amount from the bottle to create a BIG lather. This shampoo creates one of the best lathers I've ever used. It has since become one of three shampoos in my rotation upon returning home. It's affordable, does a great job of cleaning my hair, and smells fantastic.

This is my favourite of the Everstrong series. (I am allergic to the sulfates in regular shampoos but this one is ideal. Has some sulfate so it gets sudsy but not the allergen type).The EverStrong Volume Shampoo seems to make hair feel a bit oily.. This one is a better choice in my experience.None of the Everstrong series is inexpensive but it does not affect most people's allergies. And unlike some other sulfate-free shampoos, this one does get nice and sudsy.

My hair started falling out after surgery. Just sitting still reading it would fall onto the book. I tried several high priced shampoos that was supposed to restore hair but they dried my hair and it look dull, drab, and just hung there. A friend told me about this sulfate free shampoo. After using a few times people started remarking about how shiny my hair looked. After about 40 some days I begin to feel little prickly places in my hair. It was new hair growth. Along my hairline under the bangs around 60 days of using this shampoo I could see the new hair growth. No doubt about it. I was also getting wads of hair in the drain stopper but now only get one or two if any. My vacuum was always full of hair. Couldn't wear a solid dark shirt because it would get covered in hair. Just walking across the floor made my hair fall onto my shoulders. I was using packing tape several times a day to keep the hair off my tops. Now it is such a difference. Very little if any hair falls out and I don't have to clean my hairbrush every other day. I not only bought this shampoo but got the conditioner also. Then I bought the dandruff shampoo that I use once per week as recommended to rid my scalp of dead skin. Next thing I plan to hunt for is sulfate free body lotion. If sulfate free good for hair it must be good for your skin also. The shampoo comes in a good size tube and takes very little to make a good lather. Just a little of the conditioner also goes a long way. Several different categories of this shampoo is offered so I would suggest selecting the one for your hair issues.
