After I thought of switching to wet shaving this is the first razor I purchased. Though this razor is not recommended for beginners bcoz it’s mildly aggressive scale 6.5-7 , I found it the hard way , after some bloody war (2-3 nicks/shave ) I have won the battle, and man how I enjoy it now. Its almost a glass finish which I get now after two passes. Awesome knurling and weight on this beast loving shaving with it every time

If i were to choose between copulation and shaving with this razor, I'd choose the former of course, with but one caveat. My decision shall be accompanied bh a deep sigh of regret, a sense of irreparable loss and an aching realisation of the idiom, you can't have your cake and eat it too. This instrument is a work of art, and a consummate one at that.

Absolutely love it!! I dont shave everyday. Maybe once a week or once in two weeks. My beard gets pretty substantial only post the 10 day mark so I wanted something a lil more aggressive. Though I am not new to wet shaving, I continued to use my Late Grandpas old Wilkinson Ivory Butterfly razor for over 13 years! In fact I still use it! However it's more for someone who shaves everyday or every alternate day! I actually decided to buy the Hefty after a lot of debate between getting that or the 98 R! The verdict- Just fantastic and it's perfect for my fingers. The grip is excellent. Two passes and your skin is baby smooth. There is no need to apply any pressure either. The weight of the razor does the trick. Go for it!! It's a very very good buy! Ps: The 5 Parker blades that are given complimentary are actually very sharp. It should give you 5 shaves at least!
