Edit : chrome playing on the head started to come out after few months PAST EXPERIENCE I recently started wet shaving (with DE razors). A few months back I bought my first DE razor that was Bombay Shaving company Safety Razor from amazon. Its a great razor for beginners because its mildly aggressive. I was quite satisfied with the BSC razor except some issues: -The handle was a bit long for me -There was not enough width to handle -No grip whatsoever -Even though they provide the aggressive clamp it is closed comb without any grooves which most of the aggressive razors have, many having open comb design So this time i wanted to go for a short handle razor like merkur 34c. But since Merkur is overpriced in India costing anywhere between 60$ to 70$, whereas its actual value is around 40$. After seeing many positive reviews on amazon, shaving forums & YouTube, I decided to get the Parker 94R mainly because of its heft and short handle. BUILD QUALITY To be frank i was quite skeptical about the build quality of the razor but it surpassed my expectations both in terms of build quality and effectiveness. IMHO the build quality is very good and the chrome plating is far better than i expected it to be. Some key aspects that i liked are: -The Grip on this razor is amazing, even with lather on fingers. -The razor is a little top heavy but feels very well balanced. -The blade alignment is excellent with very little overhang. In many reviews i saw "INDIA" being etched on the safety bar but mine was without it. I contacted the seller (JK International) and they assured that both the heads are same and genuine. The other thing is that i received Parker blades (5 pack) instead of Shark Super Chrome blades as in image (kind of misleading) but the Parker blades are good as well. EFFECTIVENESS & FIRST SHAVE Since i knew this razor was going to be more aggressive than my previous razor, i decided to shave using an old 7 O'Clock super platinum blade (3rd Use) and boy was i surprised. For me these blades usually last 3 to 4 shaves but YMMV. Comparing the Parker 94R to the BSC razor it sits between the mild clamp and the aggressive clamp in terms of aggressiveness. For me the aggressiveness of Parker 94R is perfect. Its not too mild that i have to go multiple times over the same spot resulting in razor burn and not too aggressive that i have to be very careful while shaving. Even though it was more aggressive than BSC razor, it gave a smoother shave too, which honestly i didn't expect it to be. Even with an Old blade i got a very close and comfortable shave. It was an amazing shaving experience for me. NO Cuts or Nicks. The short handle provided a very good grip and is very maneuverable. I have a zig-zag kind of growth on my neck area so having a short handle really helps to maneuver the razor according to the grain. I would recommend this product to both beginners as well as experienced wet shavers who would like a short handle and a medium/moderate aggressive razor. I would also recommend to buy from JK International. They answered all my queries regarding the product and i was satisfied with the packaging.

Just it and had a first shave . Whata product quality wise and peroformance wise . Its more aggressive then merkur 34c or de89 but damn glides through .. must buy . Rivals merkur muhle for sure
