Advantages
Biotique product - which means high standards and with the some of the pleasantest of fragrances.Content includes wild turmeric/haldi and so this is the only one I opt for when there're any skin issues like at present it's that Feb winter to summer transition climate when all that soaps & certain other body washes do is to make skin more dry & itchy - Biotique apricot bodywash is very soft on the skin, probably as it has haldi/turmeric and also as it claims to have zero soap content i.e. natural soapnuts (isn't it called shikakai?!) in it does the 'cleaning job'. Have been using it for many years now & is one of the favorite body washes.Tip to make the bottle last longer is to use a loofah to bubble up a squeeze of the body wash mixed with little water & use for whole body. Direct application, without loofah, though not harmful (do use it straight, when skin if so dry that even loofah hurts), might end up affecting our 'pockets' badly :-)Pros: A few months ago, 210ml used to cost 180rs, now 190ml costs as much - well, inflation probably! Some sellers at Amazon gives a little off the MRP though.Secondly I think Biotique goes for bio technology to replicate nature-similar substances and from an Ayurvedic perspective it may not be as all-natural as say some of the local cottage industry products. The quality of Biotique products are way higher than most cottage industry products & so are the fragrances they employ - very subtle, soft & pleasant - which should offset any drawbacks there, if at all, from a layman point of view.
