I used Chandrika many times but could not buy from Amazon until recently as the seller charged a ridiculously high price. I bought when an Amazon fulfilled seller sold for Rs. 140. I always liked the strong herbal scent of this soap. I like strong scented soap and this does not disappoint. Scent fills the cupboard and the scent in the bathroom lingers even after a day. It is one of the oldest soaps in India and they hardly changed after so many years. The skin feels squeeky clean after use. No side effects. The soap gets over very fast though. And I would not recommend to people with dry skin. Maybe for people with dry skin Medimix would suit more. Medimix definitely gives Chandrika a tough competition but I love both the soaps a lot.
