This is a classical case of a product being made by someone who has no idea what is the intended use. For a product that involves users spraying it liberally on clothes to disinfect them, it has a smell that's very very very strong. It's not nice to start with, and it doesn't go away for days. The only way to get rid of it is to wash the clothes thoroughly - which is what you are looking to avaoid when using the product. Oh and you obviously can't wear clothes so much smell on it. Think of it like bathing yourself in a whole can of cheap room freshner and you get an impression of what it feels to wear clothes after being disinfected with this. Also given how much perfume is mixed in, I am worried about the actual effectiveness of this as a disinfectant. TLDR: Look elsewhere, because after a single use of it, you will need to instantly wash your clothes and air the room, because this smell, rather stink lingers strongly for days. Unusable, and you can wear anything after being disinfected.

The fragrance is very good but too strong. A few might not like the strong smell. I have used it on multiple type of clothes except silk. No stains on the clothes after using it. But it may not be the case with you so better to test it on a small area before disinfecting the whole clothes.

I was using the Savlon Surface Disinfectant for disinfecting various surfaces since the launch of the product in wake of the pandemic we are facing, and must say that is a very satisfactory product..So when the same brand launched this Clothes Disinfectant, it was obvious to expect the same level of quality, but sadly this one is a total disappointment..This so called clothes disinfectant smells like an ordinary Room Freshner and the fragrance is not pleasing..Unlike the surface disinfectant that has a very pleasing fragrance as if you are using a Deo, this one is a complete let down..

The fragrance is too strong! It lingers on the clothes for a really long time and starts to get overwhelming. Best if you can create one with a really mild or no fragrance so the natural smell of the fabric is there.
