I don't find it more helpful compared to a cloth. I was using a cloth for paneer making .cloth drain out water easily than this. Even,solids are coming out of small holes if u press it hardly . U be to leave paneer for more time in it.Bt I m using it sometime for steaming little amount of something.

Quality is good, but should have come with a tightening mechanism, tried with weight, but still paneer is not becoming that solid, don't expect paneer cubes, good for making burji.

I used to make paneer very often...everytime I keep the drained paneer under a pressure cooker filled with water for weight, so as to make it a tight cake... today, after straining the water, I put the paneer in this Embassy vessel, pressed with the plate given, and kept one heavy weight grinding stone mortar (the one Ural used to crush garlic ginger) with almost the same diameter...after some time , I got the tight paneer...my paneer preparation got simplified now...thank u Amazon n the seller....was thinking a lot whether to buy or not, and finally bought now.... happy that it s really useful...The quality and thickness of the steel are good...

Good product. Small or medium size is best for a small family. No need to buy the large one. I am using medium size sometimes I feel it a bit large for making paneer from a half litre milk.
