Borosil glassware is supposed to be borosilicate glass - strong, thick, sturdy, built like a tank. Sadly, this is not.Glass broke while filling up. Entire bottom base came out filling it up with biscuits. And this is not laminated glass either: means glass broke with sharp, jagged edges. Never again getti g anything like this near my food that can mix up dangerous sharp shards in the food.

A very beautiful, eligant and useful container for food items, like coffee, dry fruits & cookies. The items remain fresh and odors less since this is a glass container. We ordered twice. Nice product.
