These bowls are nicely sized to serve and adore left overs for a family of four. They are leak proof and go into the dishwasher ( I put the lids too) . The reason I am giving it four stars is because the lid locks need to be pressed down quite hard to click. It feels like the lid lock may break at the edge - after a while. It has already happened On another small Borosil bowl (not part of this set) that I have. So durability is uncertain as the wholePoint of having the bowl is to have the lids in place for easy storage.
