I am using it for almost six months, as a storage container for baby food. We open almost open the lid 3 to 4 times a day, still the lid is in same condition. Also the quality of the container is strong.If you want manage the content of the container with hand then dont go for it, as the width of the container is not so suitable for hands, but for spoons and small cups.

Most kitchen cabinets have large vertical space that's never tapped. Good quality as expected from Signoraware. The size looks small but the 500ml containers are good for storing half kg small grained dals like moong or urad. But it will not hold half kg chole or rajma. For that you need the 1.1l containers.They do save space and stack up easily.
