The one i received had sharp edges. My mom's hand should have been cut when she was washing this for first time. I was disappointed to see this on something of this price. I had to use blade to smoothen off the sharp edges. The cup is made of sturdy and good plastic. The lid could have been little bit better. But the quality check on the finish should be better.
