i should have brought this first time itself. wasted so much money on aluminium, hard anodized, and cast iron cookware. This is close to non stick, easy to handle and maintain. No seasoning needed. Even if food sticks, it comes off easily if you scrap with spatula. It failed the egg test. but i think that too can be achieved with a little effort and following proper directions.

I was looking for a SS tawa for quite a long as I have been planning to replace all my cookwares from non stick to either SS or cast iron. I was little sceptical about the SS as I know it doesn't work like the non stick ones. But to my utter surprise this tawa is no less than any other non stick tawas, provided you know how to use any SS cookware. I am super satisfied with this product and now I am confident to replace all my cookwares to SS.

It is indeed a very nice product from Hawkins. It’s sturdy, made of good metal and easy to clean. Food does not stick to the bottom with medium and low flame.I find the height of the pan is less since the vegetables spill out while stirring. I wish it was 2-3 cms more in height, then it would have been a perfect frying pan!

Hawkins Products are beautiful. Very good product. At certain temp preheating makes it behave like nonstick.and if any thing sticks also very easy to get rid of. Batch cooking without through cleaning is possible by just pouring some hot water on the hot pan and clean it using wooden spatula. Even it can cook without any oil some recipes. Pan cake comes off really good. Every wash makes it shine as new.Gives a nice color to the chicken breast at high temp searing.

This is an excellent pan. It heats up in seconds, retains heat evenly as promised, and does not need high heat, low heat on small burner itself is enough.It almost behaves like a non stick pan with the right cooking practice. Food needs a little sprinkle of water (not too much) and kept covered for proper cooking without getting stuck or burnt.I have not put any extra oil, I put extremely less oil generally and was able to maintain that.The handle stays cool and the metal bit at the end of the handle also doesn't heat up, no issues with grip.I use it for regular curry/vegetable dishes. The 22 cm pan is good for a regular portion, and the smaller size is easy to hold with one hand. The 26 cm pan would be too heavy to hold with one hand.

Good pan. Been using it for 6 months now.I would've liked to see a Nickel-Free option, but still, it's much better than toxic non-stick pans.You have to tighten the screw connecting the handle to the lid sometimes.Also seems like the steel rim doesn't completely seal closed with the rim of the lid, but maybe that's intentional, or else it would become a pressure cooker.Overall, pretty happy with it.

Have been using this one for about 4 months now, primarily for shallow frying... Good product.. comes with a stainless steel cover but I use one which i had already... Cooks well with a tad bit more oil consumption than a shallow vessel. Good buy
