It’s heavy, stainless steel.. however, since it’s not non stick it’s very prone to food being burnt or getting stuck to the pan. Won’t recommend this.

The product is sturdy, heavy and the finish is very good.When you receive the pan the sticker on it can be easily removed and I recommend applying a few teaspoons of any cooking oil on the residual glue from the label and gently rub using your finger and if stubborn use a piece of cotton cloth to scrub with oil. Once the traces of glue are removed, wipe clean with a cloth. Do not wash it before removing the Hawkins sticker and all traces of glue. You can now wash it and follow instructions given to begin using your frying pan.
