Previously I used to make crepes on roti tawa.What a mess it turned the kitchen into and my chilla would get scorched.But this is like a magic.Just do not heat it too high.Keep heat slow- medium...it heats up and retains heat.cook omellet, pancakes extremely beautifully.Beautiful crust and moist with equal distribution of small holes on the crepe.Easy to flip and viola I become a perfect cook.Seriouly a good investment and not a drop of mess on my gas stove.Super clean. Also easy to clean..do not use scrubber or harsh detergents.Just wipe it with moist cloth and wash with water and store it.First time pls season it by storing water in it to clean metal residue and then season on heat with mustard oil...good to go.ergonomical design hence no drip or mess.can also do dal tadka fry...in it properly instead of a small katori we use to fry tadka in.

All tri ply pans from well known brands are good. However what stands apart for this pan is Rosewood handle of very good quality.Other brands have steel handles which heat up eventually or some have rubber coated handles, rubber deteorites over time

Just got this frying pan -26 size and very happy with it1. Super sturdy and has a nice weight2. The handle is nicely fixed with rivets3. The pan lid is nice thick glass4. It is easy to clean and non drip, just cook on low or medium flameTIP: to remove the sticker from the pan inside, put it on gas for 30-40 seconds on medium flame and it will peel off nicely on its own. If there is gum residue on the pan, just put 2-3 drops of ghee or oil and gently rub it off with a paper tower or a piece of cloth. It will come right off.Very happy with this buy.

It is indeed a very nice product from Hawkins. It’s sturdy, made of good metal and easy to clean. Food does not stick to the bottom with medium and low flame. I find the height of the pan is less since the vegetables spill out while stirring. I wish it was 2-3 cms more in height, then it would have been a perfect frying pan!
