I like this appe pan a lot.. comes with a see through lid.. is non stick too but I still use oil before using.. works best on low flame.. if kept on high or medium flame it turns black and leaves a mark after washing.. so best to use in low flame only..

This pan may be a little bit more expensive than the other pans on Amazon but it is totally worth it . The packaging is perfect, pan is durable, easy to clean and the non stick coating is of good quality. Definitely buy !

I ordered and then had to return as it was quite small in size then I ordered prestige one in almost same rate. It's bit big in size as compared to this one. But quality is good of this one also.

Initially I was sceptical to buy this for the price as there are so many appes available at low prices but trust me this one is the best in terms of quality . Size is also compact so that each appe gets enough heat. So far I have tried suji appe and masala bati and both came out to be delecious and the appe making time was also less . Just go for it without any second thoughts and you won't regret.

Hawkins Appe pan is very good. I am using Appe pan from both brands Prestige and Hawkins. Hawkins appe pan is slightly compact and heavier than prestige. Its compact design makes it suitable for Indian gas burners. You don't need to rotate your pan left-right much while cooking. You can cook anything handwa, muffins, appe, cutlets, tikkis etc with minimal or no oil. I have read some reviews reviews about its size being too small. Well if the size is bigger then you won't be getting even cooking on gas burners (as we need to cook on low flame), Only the food in center pits would be cooked properly in that case, you keep rotating pan for even cooking. Just a suggestion: Hawkins should introduce induction compatible Appe pan too. Go for Hawkins without a doubt.
