Shape of the kadai ie.flat bottom is good. But there is a golden colour shade in the Kadai unlike the earlier one I bought of the same brand which is jet black in color. Whether there is any compromise in quality. Why there is golder color shade in the interior instead of black. Seller please comment

Its perfect for my kitchen,I have prepared vegetable kurma,poori,papad,carrot and scrambled egg,only egg was sticking to the pan,but the taste was awesome,easy to clean,I have left without using for 15 days but It didn't rust since I have oiled it perfectly,the more I use the inside part have become more black initially it was golden brown,it's just a cute kadhai...

Pleasant to see the workmanship. I am used to Lodge and this one is really comparable in quality. Price is also quite reasonable. Seasoning is already there but I washed and applied my own seasoning. It is really mini workhorse and using it almost daily. If I am really nitpicking, "ROCK" written on side is not clear. It is okay but it is not precise. Also "ROCK" written at bottom is quite precise and aesthetically appealing. Wishing you success for further improving standard of CI product making in India. 5 star from my side.

Pros: Heavy bottomed and thick. Oil gets heated evenly although it does take time initially. Cons: The tawa tends to get rusted if it is in contact with water. This gives it a brown rusty appearance and every time you need to wipe it off with a tissue or clean cloth to dry it and apply oil all over. However before the next use you still have to wipe it clean as the brown residue forms over a period of time with oil too. Not really a rock tawa. Better to go for a true cast iron tawa.
