Being the first time user of cast iron Kadhai .....I found it very satisfactory .....cleaning it is bit tedious....one has to completely dry it and heat it little bit to remove traces of water or moisture and then apply little oil to prevent it from rust ....due to its even thickness heat retention is good therefore easy in deep frying ....I ordered small size as we are 3 members family ....perfect for us ......cherry on cake is it can be used on induction .....

Kadai is very sturdy and value for money. My only concern is they have not provided any manual on how to use or maintain it. I asked few people and maintaining it. It it rusts sometimes.

If you want to make puris or vadas in less quantity then this is the correct kadai. We feel the difference between non stick and cast iron coocked food in first use itself. Go for it.

Perfect kadhai for small family, best part is it can be used on induction cooktop also! I already had a round bottom kadhai from Rock working very nice but it was not suitable for induction, this has flat bottom making me happier with Rock Tawa !!!

I had purchased similar 7”/ 8” Kadai … at least two times earlier and had to return for quality and issues like uneven / rough finishing of the Cast Iron Kadai (inside) … However this Rock Kadai is of very good quality for sure.
