I already hold it in 2 other sizes, using since last 5 years, without any complains. You can use, the same on functional occasions, where single utensil is used multiple times without cleaning. Time tested, almost 5 hours at a stretch. Use lid with care for long utility life

I can say, just buy it. It's worth the money. The base is heavy and really good to cook in both induction and gas tops. It prevents the food from getting burnt to a good extent. But can't expect this to work like Bergner or other international brands. But it's worth the money for a typical indian cooking. Also bought different sizes in this, all are good!!!

I am writing this review after using this cookware for long.This kadai is good for making gravys only.For frying or shallow frying its not suitable.Food can be cooked on low or mefium flame.On high flame food gets burnt and sticks to the bottom even if left for 5 minutes

Kadai is good and works as expected. The surface is flat not curved as in conventional ones and that asks for more oil to deep fry.The only thing negative and is a big negative, like others have pointed out, is Glass lid. The material is exceptionally cheap. We used the kadai few time and luckily with us the glass didn't break while cooking. But it broke when it was least expected - while it was kept in cupboard without any temperature. One fine morning, I found it quietly broken with remains inside the kadai.So my suggestion, buy this product when you are happy without glass lid and have an alternative steel lid available for this size. Tip: South India does have all kadai with steel lid only.

Update: I have been using this product for over 5 months and was loving it. But on fine morning heard a loud pop from the kitchen ... found the so called 'tempered glass lid' shattered into million minuscule pieces all over the kitchen counter. Thankfully there was no one standing near it, but had to throw out everything on the kitchen counter. Cleaning up was a nightmare.Initial review: Finally a quality cookware made in India. The thick bottom really helps to retain heat. Works well on gas stoves.

The quality of material is good but the size of the Kadai is smaller than expected. Go for 4 litre one which is available around ?1,300(mostly) to avoid returning and reordering.

This vessel is thick bottomed, which prevents burning of the food whether heating on gas or induction. The glass lid lets you keep a watch on the contents while cooking and it remains cooler than metal, so is safer to handle. All handles remain cool enough to touch during cooking. Excellent finish and nice looking, is excellent value for money, I recommend it without hesitation or reservation.The perfect design ? Unfortunately not. There is ample room for improvement. The handles are riveted, and the rivet heads get in the way of cooking as well as cleaning, which is irritating in such a costly product. I hope the next version will have welded handles with smooth, uninterrupted inside-surface.And it should come with an additional metal lid, which is lighter and will not shatter if dropped by children or servants.But still it is worth buying one as it is !

Nice kdahi make ur kitchen beautiful but food get burn in this even on medium flame so it will hood if u cook ur food on low flame so it could not burn over all nice product very easy to clean
