Best ever .... We have tried modak this time in this steamer... Unbelievable..... 18 to 20 modak are easily cooked in this .of course medium size. It takes 20 to 25 min for this...quite sturdy. Just go for it.

Steamer is average. Compared to the material and workmanship, the price is too high!! The material is just okay. The lid is of bad quality and it's very loose for the steamer. Lid knob is getting heated while steaming and can't open without the help of a pot holders. Twice I replaced the order, but the same kind of lid received again. Poor workmanship!! Water level (max & min) should have been marked inside casserole. Can be used for a family of 2 members...
