The glass is fixed in a very thin frame and it looks fragile. The pot had a small dent which I noticed only later. So I could not return the product. Steam is escaping through the sides of the lid. The quality of the steamer pot is also not very good and it is made of a low-gauge steel.

The thickness of the gauge of the stainless steel used in the product (with the exception of the base) is too less. Instead of a matte finish, the inside should have been shiny. The inside of the pots tend to get stained (especially the lowest one, which gets burn marks at the margins of the water level). Had it been shiny and gauge been thick, this would have not happened. The holding handles get hot so beware. The manufacturer claims that handles do not get hot, but I nearly burnt my hands holding the stainless steel pipe fabricated handles, especially affixed to the lower vessel, as the fire heats these very easily. So keep a cloth or whatever handy to hold these handles when hot. The lid of the product is very delicate. Mine has broken barely 2 weeks since the product came. So now I am helpless as the device has become useless. I am hunting on the internet to get a replacement. However, a non standard size has been used so it might be tough to get one. The manufacturer does not also mention anywhere from where to get the glass lids. So maybe I will need to go and look around shops, this time for an appropriate size stainless steel plate, which I might convert into a lid by drilling a hole into the center of that plate and fixing the steel knob that I have from the broken glass lid. Also, too much steam leaks due to poor fit and finish in the product.
