Nakshathra Iron Dosa Kallu Tawa is a specialty of a small community of artisans based in rural Tamil Nadu. Once known for making this tawas the art form is slowly dying with the introduction of non-stick cookware. We bring you these products directly from these artisans who have been making them for generations. Completely hand-made and pre-treated for immediate use in the burner. We have two variants: Medium and Large size Kallu- Both recommended for making Dosas Chapattis Parathas Adai Akki Roti etc. The Large Kallu is recommended for large families to make as many dosas as possible without overheating the Tawa.

Healthy alternative for dosa tawa... it works very well and dosa comes nice and crispy. Marination instructions also came with the package. If you still face sticky ness while preparing, apply butter to get better results
