Advantages
This is best product from Prestige. I bought this product for chapatis but then planned to return it as it was meant only for Chapatis. Pros: - It is good looking, best suitable for modern kitchens. -Easy to clean as food does not stick to the pan (You can simply scrub), DO not use steel scrubber. -Easy to handle. - Less investment required. Cons: -The coating will come off easily if the utensil is heated on high flame. -This cannot be used in Oven. -Many cases of flu-like diseases caused by inhaling fumes from such appliances(when over heated). -The average life of this product in Indian Kitchen is 2-3 years. You can go for Cast Iron pan instead. When seasoned properly, it is naturally non-stick which is actually good for health. Cast iron is costly but one time investment. Yes, you need to be very careful while handling cast iron utensils as they do not come with handles. We can cook Chapatis, Omelettes, Dosas, rotis and Chillai on same pan. We need not to keep separate utensil to cook different food items.
