I always loved Prestige dosa pans in general. I tried many in the past but they never lasted more than 6 or 9 months, not even the foreign brands. My last Prestige pan lasted more than 1.5 years and would have lasted even longer if we had maintained it properly. And my journey of searching for a new pan ended once I found Prestige. Now, this time, I bought a granite pan because I had a sense that it would last longer because all hotels generally use Granite pans. So the pan size is big. We can make big dosas with same amount of gas. One thing I will note which I think is the case with all pans is that, there was little burning smell because its new but I think that happens with all the pans. But otherwise, I recommend people to only buy Prestige pans. I saved lot of money once I started buying pans from Prestige. 100% recommended.
