Dosa is sticks so hard it's difficult to rake out and dosa is broken in Many pieces.Rough surface observed Need to improve lot surface finished .putting oil and dosa batter and dosa does not stick and easily removable the dosa. At present product is not suitable for dosa Making.

I tried using this Tawa as described in the manual and also on the website. Dosa's were sticking and was completely frustrated. Then, there was a suggestion to do the seasoning. I did seasoning at least 5 to 6 times from the day I received the tawa. Alas! All types of Dosa's stick to the tawa and I could not use it even for a day. Then there was one more suggestion, to smooth the rough surface. I used sandpaper to make the surface smooth and then did the seasoning. Yet, no success. I followed all the instructions meticulously, only to have a very very bad experience. I have now reverted back to my old Tawa. I won't recommend it to anyone. Useless purchase.

I searched for an induction friendly tawa without artificial coatings and found this "Vinod Legacy Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Dosa Tawa, 28 cm, Induction Friendly,Black, 1 Piece." It is an excellent quality cast-iron item, and I am a lifelong user of cast-iron. But on the 100C or 130C setting, it switched the induction cooker off within 3 minutes with an error message. These are the low and medium-low settings that we use our old tawa on, a non-stick thing with an induction-friendly bottom. I really wish this Vinod cast-iron tawa worked on the induction cooker, as it seems to be a well-made cast-iron item. Industrial non-stick surfaces end up slowly in your food, and in my experience, years later the previously popular coating gets banned for being toxic. Well-maintained cast-iron is non-stick and 100% natural and safe.
