Not sure if defective or if this is the way the product works but the lock feature is not user friendly for sure. But the product is good, quality standard, serves the purpose.

The lid is not tight and there is no lock which is a major issue. The main purpose of the box has been compromised...else the make is good and the inner drip tray is very useful.

Lightweight, good color. I first thought of getting the 2L version but then bought this 2.5L and in my opinion it has the best size to keep phulkas and other indian breads. You can check out the images. The basket is heighted so the water doesn't spoil your phulkas.What I am not sure about is the material being dishwasher proof.
