The casseroles looks good. The glass lid locks well. They appear to be double walled as claimed. But, they are not Thermally insulated. We bought the set with the hope that items would stay reasonably hot after some time. They would not! If you want to use them as serving bowls, go ahead and buy. But, if you want to keep the items warm, do not buy.
