This outer part and the lid of the casserole is made of food grade plastic which makes is hygienic and odourless. The casseroles are stackable in nature which gets locked by turning it and can be detached easily. Each containers can be used separately as well. Collapsible side handle safe space. We purchased this product online just only for the fact that we found its from Milton and looks great as with what's advertised but receiving them overseas in NZ, we found them really low quality product. Don't believe they are genuine, as Milton wouldn't just put their sticker on it, they would use a stamp or something and then the quality of the plastic material used externally is that low, looks like all scratchy, no shine, not looking like a new at all! Just leaving this here so you would be careful when you do buy them. Also notice, even the size measurements are provided, but the quantity that you can fit in are real low as well, the small units are really really small.
