This product was not tested even for basic functionality. The lid handle is smooth and without any ridges. This makes it extremely difficult to open . The lid slips off while opening. Recommend the manufacturer to do some beta testing . Maybe give it to your employees at the factory so they can give some feedback.this issue exemplifies the problems with online shopping where you don’t get the feel of product. If it was a brick and mortar store this issue would have been easily identified while picking up the product. Anyways can live with it so not returning. Worst case , the return policy is good and hassle free in Amazon . So no worries.

I have been using this a couple of weeks to see how it performs. The lid locks tightly, so food does stay warm for more than a few hours. The longest I have waited was 2.5 hours, but it was still steaming hot when we ate. I had bought a stainless steel one originally, but it didn't keep the food hot for even 30 mins, so I was really happy that this one has a good lock/seal to keep good warm for several hours. Even though the outside and lid is plastic, the inner part is stainless steel. The plastic parts are heavy duty plastic and will last. It is a shiny plastic, so it shows scratches/wear easier than my old set that was more of a matte plastic. Overall it is good quality and does what it says!

The product is awesome and I’ve been using Milton for years! i did receive the wrong colour in the first round but as the Amazon promise always ensures they will make up for any issue- I got the right colour today as a replacement 4 days later! I’m elated and can’t wait to use it!

I had to go on reviews when I purchased these. As a westerner, I am not familiar with certain brand's here. I wanted something good, long lasting etc. I was going to buy the cheaper Asian set, I just didn't like the colours, then came across Milton. Well, they are absolutely shocking!! Yes, a waste of money!! I have a lovely lady cooking Bengali good for me and needed these. The kids do not close properly. They are also hard to open, you need like a knife just to flick it up as they don't lock in properly.I purchased 3 X 1 litre, and this is buyer warning, incorrect information, it does not hold 1 litre.The worst thing. Inside the rim of the dish are sharp plastic pieces, meant to lock in the lid. Extremely dangerous when washing them as they can give you a nasty cut/scratch. Very poorly designed.The positive. They are lightweight.Not worth the buy.
