I had to go on reviews when I purchased these. As a westerner, I am not familiar with certain brand's here. I wanted something good, long lasting etc. I was going to buy the cheaper Asian set, I just didn't like the colours, then came across Milton. Well, they are absolutely shocking!! Yes, a waste of money!! I have a lovely lady cooking Bengali good for me and needed these. The kids do not close properly. They are also hard to open, you need like a knife just to flick it up as they don't lock in properly. I purchased 3 X 1 litre, and this is buyer warning, incorrect information, it does not hold 1 litre. The worst thing. Inside the rim of the dish are sharp plastic pieces, meant to lock in the lid. Extremely dangerous when washing them as they can give you a nasty cut/scratch. Very poorly designed. The positive. They are lightweight. Not worth the buy.

Product is small and compact and looks fairly good. But it does not retain heat. Food in the container becomes cold in a few hours. The locking mechanism is also rather cumbersome and most times it is difficult to slot it right and close tight. Irrespective, even when lid is closed properly, food items lose heat fast. I don't recommend this product.
