If you are looking for a flask to keep water hot or cold it doesn't last even whole day its keeps water warm for may be 5 to 6 hours thats all you get, unless ya looking for a flask that can keep the water hot you can go for it. If not not buy this product its useless.

I kept hot boiling water for more than 24 hrs and the result was satisfactory. The water was still hot but not as compared to boiling. But was that much hot, that I had to add some cold water to make lukewarm to drink.

I have Milton flasks of 2L,1L and 1/2 L Capacity bought over amazon and locally. Current review is for 2L Carafe bought from Amazon. Pros: Easy to clean. The build quality is very good. Good for traveling. Regulated movement. Partially environment friendly. The Cap is plastic, but still ok to use. Cons: Lid on the top made of plastic has thin lever which can get break if not handled properly. 24 Hours Hot or Cold feature works well only in the initial weeks. But this gradually fades over the time and stops working altogether in mere 2-3 months of use. Now when we pour hot water, the outer metal too gets hot. And the vacuum feature is totally dead. The product warranty is for a year and if you bought the product locally, you can easily get a replacement at the store. Since this one was bought over Amazon, i didn't bother to go through the hassle of replacement. Now we use it as a regular 2L water canister for travel purposes. Hence the 3 stars.

The milton flask delivered to my home was of 2ltr capacity. Pros: 1: The build quality is very good 2: Hot water temparature is maintained for more than 12hrs 3: You can use the flask to contain rice/daal or any other liquid material, if you want to eat homefood on your outing. 4: Easy to wash Cons: 1: Lid on the top has thin lever which can get break if not handled properly 2: Avoid giving access to kids as it may get damaged if fallen on floor

get in deal, but hard luck its was small one dented in the bottom, no replacement only refunds offers, which makes the direct loss of 500rs. fresh price, you may check here. the recent lightening deal was 1270, total my choice should i return or carry. i opt to carry. performance is Important, add on on results: it's amazing in performance, I poured boiled water on morning 6 am and its was hot same day in evening by 8 pm and pretty warm it was in next morning 6am.

Good quality flask The only issue I found is that it is very heavy at the bottom and the top is comparatively very light, which makes it difficult to hold and balance the flask while pouring. A slightly shorter and wider design might be more suitable.
