Disadvantages

I had purchased the E K on 2/11/23, but started using it regularly since 1/5, today I opened the lid to wipe the base, and as I opened the part holding the kettle broke away, I'm using inalsa kettle for last 4 years, nothing such happened with that. Another issue is it liberates steam so strongly that it's difficult to hold, my daughter burnt her thumb in the steam. I expect solution of the problem.

The kettle stopped working a few months back. I've tried contacting the customer care and they took their own time to send contact details of a service centre that is more than 10km away.
