Absolutely helpful and then its a Hawkins. Very helpful with biryanis. Sturdy on the gas stove and light as compared to others at this size. Cleaning is east, Handy lid, easy on maintenance, and cooks food quite fast. I was actually stunned with the result, thought I needed to buy it earlier.

The prodcuct is fit for its purpose. But has not come upto my expectations of Hawkins. The finish of the product is not as good as their Futura pressure cookers. The lid also is not fiiting comfortably on the vessel. The surface also is not proper non sticky. The handle of the lid is also not comfortable

Good sturdy vessel. Enough volume to cook biryani for 6-8 big eaters. easy to place seal for dum and weight can be placed above the lid. Quite heavy for hard anodised aluminium vessel. Good buy. Only complaint is that the handles and lid top for my 6 Lt vessel are small. I can get 2 fingers into the handle slot and the lid top doesn't have enough grip to pull conveniently. Still I would rate this vessel high.
