The masher is exactly what I was looking for. The only drawback is the round surface edge is slightly sharper to mash inside non-stick Kadai. I was precautions. I am not sure if it will scratch the surface or not.

I don't know what the other people are talking about. This product was delivered to me by mistake, I had ordered an oval masher got a round one. Anyhow, this product is extremely poor quality, the steel is a solid 'Patti', with sharp never edges. You will harm yourself. It's very sharp at the bottom. Look up the picture. I have asked for a return/ refund.
