It cuts onions, carrots, beetroots etc into fine pieces.But we can put only small quantity at a time, otherwise it gets stuck.Also the veggies needs to be further cut into smaller pieces before putting in the chopper.

In the past 6 months, I bought 3 different choppers from Prestige, Solimo and another brand I forgot. As you can find in amazon, all 3 look alike - the same Chinese make with different brands. All 3 went bad one after the other, like spring tension is gone, string got cut in Solimo and couldn't fix it.The old pigeon model also looked alike the other brands, so I didn't buy it. This new model with vertical handle, I gave a try and it is the best I've bought. Looking at the 8 degree blade itself, its premium quality can be understood. Just with 1 or 2 pulls it finishes the job.Moreover this is Made in India and it is premium and sturdy.
